Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is confident that WR Dez Bryant is the best he’s been at any point in his career this year, and he thinks he should be getting more balls thrown his way by QB Tony Romo. Romo has completed 72.4 percent of his passes this year, good for third highest in the league, but he hasn’t taken many risks, including throwing to a double-covered Bryant. ‘The same kind of throw you throw to him in the end zone the other day that he made that catch,’ Jones said. ‘He can make that catch with two people on him. You throw him the ball when he’s double-covered. He’s been thrown to when he’s double-covered. You can do that.’
Footballguys View: Bryant has emerged as one of the premiere wide receivers in the game today. He’s in an elite tier that includes Calvin Johnson (Lions), A.J. Green (Bengals), Julio Jones (Falcons), and Demaryius Thomas (Broncos).
