Dallas Cowboys rookie RB Ezekiel Elliott could receive 280 to 300 carries in his rookie season, in the opinion of David Helman of dallascowboys.com.
Footballguys View: That numbers should make fantasy owners drool. The rookie RB has the upside to be one of the best in the game, and Elliott should make an immediate (and huge) impact in the NFL. The only RB to get 300 carries last year was Adrian Peterson (Vikings), and the next closest starter was Doug Martin (Buccaneers) at 288 carries. Elliott will be the centerpiece of the Cowboys offense in 2016, and he could easily finish the year as a top-5 fantasy RB. His current ADP is RB6 (2.03) in 12-team PPR leagues.
