Dallas Cowboys TE James Hanna is still ahead of rookie TE Gavin Escobar (San Diego State) on the depth chart. Per the report Hanna has ‘raised his level of play as camp went on.’ Hanna has remained as the second-team TE throughout the Cowboys offseason workouts.

Our View: Escobar was a second-round pick and many thought he would slide right in as the primary backup behind Jason Witten. Entering training camp we could see Hanna at that spot.
