Dallas Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins (shoulder) is more likely to make his debut in Week 2. By then, barring any setbacks, he would have been able to participate in six practices, which should make him ready on a limited basis. His role on the defense, however, remains up for debate. Jenkins could play the outside receiver in some four-receiver sets and even some slot corner if necessary. He could also spell starting CBs Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne.
