Dallas Cowboys RB Rod Smith continues to work ahead of Alfred Morris as the third running back, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer.

Footballguys View: Morris seems to be on the roster bubble, and unlike Smith, he can’t contribute at fullback. If Ezekiel Elliott doesn’t get suspended, Morris is more likely to be on the outside looking in when the season begins.
