Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said the team likely will not increase QB Tony Romo’s (back) workload during the mandatory minicamp next week. Romo has been throwing during individual drills and sitting out during team drills.
Footballguys View: No surprise here. The Cowboys want to push for the playoffs this year, and the only way they do that is with a healthy Romo. It’s wise to take it easy on the veteran QB until he’s closer to full strength. We expect him to ramp up his activity when training camp rolls around.
