Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 74 percent of his passes, averaged 16.6 yards per completion and compiled a 137.9 passer rating when he targeted Jaylen Waddle at the University of Alabama, per Pro Football Focus.
Footballguys View: Waddle can get the most out of Tagovailoa. As a rookie in 2020, Tagovailoa flashed a bit but generally struggled a a passer. Rather than give up on him, the Dolphins know they need better weapons around him and that’s why they added Waddle in the 2021 NFL draft. Waddle can fly down the field and takes the top off the defense. Expect his chemistry with Tagovailoa to pick up where they left off.
