Dolphins | Reach Agreement with QB Tannehill

Adam Schefter, from ESPN, reports via Twitter that the Dolphins have come to an agreement with first-round pick, QB Ryan Tannehill. No details of the contract have been released. Schefter did say that Miami made concessions to make the deal palatable, and Tannehill was unwilling to miss more time to continue fight on offset language.

Our View: Tannehill is unlikely to be the starter in week one but we feel he’ll see the field sometime later in the year. He’s got plenty of experience in OC Mike Sherman’s offense because Sherman was his head coach in college at Texas A&M. Tannehill is athletic, has a strong arm, and some in the scouting community felt he had the best pocket presence of anyone in the 2012 NFL Draft. He’s behind David Garrard and Matt Moore on the depth chart as he gets to camp.
