Eagles | DeSean Jackson to be used heavily

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (ribs) said new head coach Chip Kelly told him that he will be used heavily in the team’s offense. ‘He called me and was very excited. I could tell in his voice,’ Jackson said. ‘He was like, ‘Let me know when you’re back in Philly so we can just talk face to face.’ I actually talked to Pat Shurmur. He was my coach when I first got to Philly. He’s excited, as well.’ However, Jackson has no idea who will be the team’s quarterback next season. Jackson also mentioned that his fractured ribs are ’98 percent’ healthy.

Our View: This new look Eagles offense should be great for Jackson’s fantasy value. Fantasy owners may be able to get him as a value WR2 with WR1 upside in 2013.
