Philadelphia Eagles WR Golden Tate’s trade-deadline acquisition from the Detroit Lions ‘no question’ worked out the way the Eagles hoped it would, general manager Howie Roseman said Tuesday, Jan. 15.
Footballguys View: Tate did make some plays with the Eagles here and there but he just didn’t seem to fit in as good as he could have. Now he enters free agency in 2019 and it’s unlikely the Eagles bring him back. They took a chance and it didn’t work out…even though Roseman spun it differently on Tuesday.
