Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford is expected to ask to be traded, according to a source, despite executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman stating that Bradford is still the starter. It was previously reported that Bradford is upset with the Eagles’ trading up in the NFL Draft for what will likely be a quarterback.

Footballguys View: Well, the Eagles may not want to move him on, since they have no guarantee that the rookie they choose will be ready to go. Could he force one? Perhaps, because he wants to make sure he gets a chance to show teams he can still play. If they give the job at some point to the rookie, that won’t happen. Keep an eye on this, because some teams (COUGH THE JETS COUGH) still have no quarterback and could make a trade on draft day.
