Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians thinks the Atlanta Falcons will bounce back this year, and he is not looking forward to playing them in 2014. “I’m not looking forward it,” Arians said. “I thought (general manager Thomas Dimitroff) and (head coach Mike Smith) did a great job of really securing their lines of scrimmage, which I know was their goal. I know that Matt (Ryan) is going to come back strong. I could see the Falcons bouncing back real big this year.”
Footballguys View: We’re in agreement with Dodds, errrr… Arians here. The Falcons just need Julio Jones to stay healthy and that will greatly benefit what they do with their passing game. The running game will get a boost from rookie Devonta Freeman, and he can also be used effectively as a receiver out of the backfield. The defense still has issues, so Atlanta is going to have to keep their foot on the gas as an offense and win shootouts in 2014.
