Atlanta Falcons OT Lamar Holmes (leg) admitted that he isn’t in the best shape, and he vows to work on improving his conditioning during the season. However, he said his issues don’t have anything to do with being overweight. Holmes is seeing significant snaps this year after playing in just one game as a rookie in 2012. He played in all 191 snaps this year through three weeks. ‘Sometimes, I just get a little winded,’ Holmes said. ‘I use so much energy at times, I just need the wind. … I have never played like this before. This is really my first action. You’re really seeing how much energy you’re actually using out there on the field. I know I need to pick it up and get in better shape so I can play hard all four quarters.’ OT Jeremy Trueblood started over Holmes in Week 4 with OT Sam Baker back.
