Atlanta Falcons DE Osi Umenyiora wants to remain with the team next season. ‘I would love to stay, and I think I am,’ Umenyiora said. ‘But you really never know what’s going to happen.’ He’ll count $4.75 million against the salary cap in 2014 after leading the team with 7.5 sacks in 2013. Umenyiora is also due a $1 million roster bonus in mid-March, and releasing him would save the team $3.5 million against the cap. He wouldn’t say if he’d be willing to take a pay cut.
