Atlanta Falcons restricted free-agent WR Taylor Gabriel said he wants to be a Falcon ‘forever.’ The Falcons also want their deep-threat receiver to stay. If the Falcons really want him back, they’ll be able to place a high tender on Gabriel, forcing other prospective teams to have to surrender a first- or second-round pick in order to sign him. General manager Thomas Dimitroff said last week that a priority heading into free agency will be to re-sign Atlanta’s free agents. The Falcons are expected to place a second-round tender worth around $2.8 million. A first-round tender would be worth around $4 million.
