Footballguys View: The story will always read “what might have been” when it comes to Love. He followed up Christian McCaffrey at Stanford and was phenomenal. Then, he injured his knee severely and hasn’t been the same since. With Washington moving on from him, Love hits the open market and there may be a team who picks him up based on the potential that is there if he were to ever regain his form. At this point, that seems unlikely.
