Joel Corry, former agent and current writer for CBSSports.com, believes Giants WR Hakeem Nicks could land a big money deal if he bounces back from a disappointing 2012 season. If he gets back on track in 2013 Nicks could command in excess of $10MM per season because of his talent and big play ability.
Our View: Nicks has the talent to be a top 15 WR in the NFL but is coming off the worst statistical season in his career. He caught only 53 passes for 692 yards and three touchdowns as he worked through nagging knee and foot injuries. In 2010 & 2011 combined Nicks had over 150 catches, over 2,200 yards receiving and 18 TD grabs. The talent is there, he just needs to stay healthy if he wants to break the bank next offseason.
