Giants | Changing offensive approach

With the hiring of offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, the New York Giants are admitting that they will change up their offensive approach to be more successful in 2014. ‘We’re going to try to compromise the system with what we have here,’ head coach Tom Coughlin said. ‘However, there will be change, and that change will be very positive and very well-received by our team and players. And if our players are scrambling around to learn a new system — good. That’s another fire in their rear end.’ The new offensive scheme should help WR Victor Cruz, and it’ll require QB Eli Manning to go through his progressions quickly and deliver the ball to playmakers in space.
