Giants | Darius Slayton set for big year?

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton could have a sophomore season comparable to Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (2018) or Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (2013), according to Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com. Rosenblatt bases those comparisons on Slayton’s rookie production of 740 yards, eight touchdowns and 48 receptions while working with fellow rookie QB Daniel Jones.

Footballguys View: We’ll see if Slayton can take that next step. Injuries to Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard opened the door for Slayton in 2019 and the rookie came through in a big way. This year, Slayton is the slot receiver and that makes him a WR3/deep flex play with upside in 2020.
