Updating previous reports, New York Giants RB David Wilson (neck) will have a fusion of the vertebrae to repair a herniated disc in his neck Jan. 16. There is no timetable for his return, but general manager Jerry Reese said the team can’t count on Wilson being ready for the start of the season.
