New York Giants QB Eli Manning remains the face of the franchise despite a disappointing season that saw him toss 27 interceptions. ‘Well listen, he did not have a good year,’ owner John Mara said. ‘He’d be the first one to tell you that. But he had a lot of company… He’s still the face of the franchise, and we need to help him. We need to give him some better tools and do a better job around him next year.’ Manning’s current contract is set to expire in 2016, and the team is open to signing him to an extension this offseason.
