Unrestricted free-agent LB Markus Golden (Giants) has until July 22 – for the first day of NFL training camp, whichever is later – to find a new team or else his only option will be to sign a one-year, $4.125 million deal – the amount of the unrestricted free-agent tender the New York Giants placed on him on May 5 – with the Giants. According to SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano, such a scenario appears likely as there has been ‘no indication’ other teams are pursuing him.
