New York Giants FB Elijhaa Penny (illness) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys. WR Golden Tate (calf) also did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. LB Cam Brown (illness) was added to the injury report and did not practice Friday, Jan. 1; he is listed as questionable. TE Evan Engram (calf), S Jabrill Peppers (ankle) and WR Sterling Shepard (rib) were limited in practice all week but no longer appear on the injury report. CB Darnay Holmes (knee) and QB Daniel Jones (hamstring) practiced in full all week and have also been removed from the injury report.

Footballguys View: Jones being off of the injury report is a good sign that he’ll be able to run more this week and otherwise activate dormant parts of the Giants offense.
