New York Giants S Xavier McKinney appears to be the leading candidate to start at safety opposite S Jabrill Peppers this upcoming season.

Footballguys View: A lot of rookies may have lessened impact this year because of the lack of an offseason, but McKinney can step in right away as a box safety and have a big IDP league impact. There’s a good argument for him to be the first rookie safety off of the board in IDP leagues.
