Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles said he met with TE Julius Thomas multiple times this offseason because he wants the same chemistry with Thomas that he had last year. ‘We had a chance this offseason to sit down multiple times, watch film and talk about things,’ Bortles said. ‘Talk about what he wanted from me and what I wanted from him and how we can quickly get on the same page to grow together.’
Footballguys View: Thomas is a stud when healthy…but he’s never played a full 16-game season in his pro career. The Jaguars are building something good on offense, and Thomas can be a big part of what they do in the passing game–especially in the red zone. He’s a low-end TE1 with the potential to catch double-digit touchdowns.
