Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (calf) left the team’s practice Wednesday, June 4, due to a minor calf injury. He will likely sit out of the session Thursday, June 5.

Footballguys View: This doesn’t sound like anything major here. The Jaguars need Shorts on the field as he’s their top target. We’ll see guys like rookies Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson compete with Ace Sanders to be the starter opposite Shorts this year. Justin Blackmon is still indefinitely suspended by the NFL.
