Jacksonville Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew on Friday, May 1, received a semi vote of confidence from head coach Doug Marrone, who also left the door open to the team adding a quarterback as well. ‘Ya, he’s our QB, there’s no doubt about it,’ Marrone said in an interview on Good Morning Football. ‘… But one of the things that we’re doing, we’re still looking to to make sure were upgraded at each position. There are some veterans out there that we might look at to bring in.’
Footballguys View: The team gave Minshew a vote of confidence when they traded Nick Foles away to the Bears earlier this year. We’ll see if they nab Andy Dalton now that he’s on the open market, but it’s looking like Minshew will be their starter to open the regular season.
