Jaguars | Toby Gerhart wants to carry offense

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Toby Gerhart is hoping to be the Jaguars’ version of ‘Beast Mode’ this year. ‘Toby is very light on his feet. … He averaged 4.7 yards per carry (1,305 yards, 276 carries) his four years in Minnesota. He was playing behind one of the greatest backs in Adrian Peterson, so he wasn’t going to lose a lot of tread off his tires,’ general manager David Caldwell said. Gerhart plans to spend the next four weeks before training camp acclimating to the Florida humidity, and he hopes the improved offensive line will help him be successful in 2014.

Footballguys View: Gerhart has little talent in the backfield to overcome to get to 300 carries this year, and he presents value as your RB2 in the sixth round or later. His ADP is low right now, but that should change over the summer.
