New York Jets QB Christian Hackenberg completed 11 of his 31 for 54 yards and an interception in the preseason finale against the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday, Sept. 1.

Footballguys View: His interception was a pick six. Since Bryce Petty left with a shoulder injury, we saw more of Hackenberg than expected. It’s clear he has a lot of work to do. The question is whether Petty is getting put on IR with a questionable injury, as many in the media were expecting last week. That way the Jets keep all four quarterbacks but use only three roster spots.
