New York Jets DL Muhammad Wilkerson turned heads during organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp. He is expected to make a leap in his second season. Head coach Rex Ryan has repeatedly likened Wilkerson’s work ethic and ascension to CB Darrelle Revis. ‘Looking back on the spring, if I had to rank our guys – out of Revis – (Wilkerson) was the best player on the field,’ defensive coordinator Mike Pettine said. ‘He was dominant at times. He doesn’t take a day off. He doesn’t take a play off.’
