Jets | Bryce Petty goes to locker room

New York Jets QB Bryce Petty (shoulder) had to be taken to the locker room with a left shoulder injury during the team’s final preseason game Thursday, September 1. He was drilled in the left shoulder on a 44-yard touchdown pass and replaced by QB Christian Hackenberg. Petty is probable to return, according to the team.

Footballguys View: Could this be the famous “fake injured player” who the Jets stash on IR so they can keep all their quarterbacks? We’ll see how this plays out, but the only quarterback worth tracking here is Ryan Fitzpatrick who is a decent QB2 this season and tracking as QB20 right now in drafts.
