Jets | Christian Hackenberg making progress

New York Jets QB Christian Hackenberg is making solid progress during offseason workouts, according to head coach Todd Bowles. ‘He’s getting a grasp of the offense and learning it. With 11 guys out there for the first time, there are going to be mistakes on both sides of the ball, but he’s coming along,’ Bowles said.

Footballguys View: There’s nowhere to go but up for Hackenberg. He was a second-round pick in 2016, but Hackenberg was so bad he couldn’t see the field as a rookie. Reports out of Jets camp indicate that Josh McCown is the best quarterback so far. No matter who wins the job, fantasy owners shouldn’t be looking to Jets QBs in any way, shape or form.
