New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles said he’s ‘hopeful’ that QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is re-signed by training camp. However, Bowles didn’t say he’s confident.

Footballguys View: Things are getting back on track with the Jets and Fitzpatrick. The two sides were at an impasse earlier this year, but now the QB market has dried up and Fitzpatrick will likely lower his asking price in order to play with the Jets. If (when?) he’s signed, Fitzpatrick should start and put up high-end QB2 numbers for fantasy owners.
