New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis is due to make $15 million in 2017, including a $2 million signing bonus due on the second day of the league year in March. There is speculation the Jets may skip his presumed move to safety and simply cut bait as a result of his disappointing play this season.
Footballguys View: We could see that happening. The Jets need all the help they can get, and they may want to free up cap space by getting rid of Revis. Like most corners, he could move to safety at this point in his career. We’re sure some team would be willing to transition him.
