New York Jets TE Jace Amaro (groin) is on the final roster bubble, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. Costello believes TE Kellen Davis is the only player at the position who has secured a roster spot. TEs Zach Sudfeld and Brandon Bostick are also in contention.

Footballguys View: We’ve said this for a while. There was brief hope this summer when he came into OTAs and had worked with Brandon Marshall to improve his catching. Since then, though, he has struggled to hold onto the ball. The front office which drafted him is gone, so this GM and coach have no reason to keep him around. We don’t see the Jets as a team which produces fantasy tight ends worth rostering anyway, so no matter who is there on the roster, they shouldn’t be on yours.
