Jets | Mark Sanchez may not be out of work for long

One coach of a quarterback-needy team believes New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez (shoulder) wouldn’t be out of a job long if the Jets cut him this offseason. New York would save $8.3 million of the $13.1 million salary cap figure if they release him. ‘We’d take Sanchez,’ the coach said. ‘He’d be the starter as soon as he walked in the door for us.’ Sanchez has been rehabbing his right shoulder in Alabama after having surgery in October.
