New York Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson is still unhappy he does not have a long-term contract, and he will not sign his franchise-tag tender anytime soon. As such, he might not report for the start of training camp in late July, sources said Monday. He will skip the team’s mandatory minicamp, which starts Tuesday, June 14. Because he hasn’t signed his tender, he cannot be fined for not participating in the three-day event.
