New York Jets WR Stephen Hill (concussion) is unlikely to play in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons after sustaining a concussion in Week 4. Hill has 13 catches for 233 yards and one touchdown this season as the team’s second leading receiver. WR Santonio Holmes (hamstring) is also dinged up, and WRs Jeremy Kerley and Ben Obomanu or Clyde Gates would likely start if both Hill and Holmes don’t play.
Footballguys View: Hill is a favorite target of rookie QB Geno Smith, but needs to pass the NFL protocol for dealing with concussions before he can return to the field.
