Free-agent RB Tevin Coleman (49ers) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth up to $2 million with the New York Jets on Wednesday, March 24.
Footballguys View: The Jets need running back help and Coleman is part of the solution. He’s still got straight-line speed but should not be counted on to carry a heavy workload. We expect the Jets to address the running back position on the second or third day of the 2021 NFL draft. La’Mical Perine, Ty Johnson, and Josh Adams will compete to make a RBBC with Coleman as likely the lead back.
