The Detroit Lions agreed to terms with WR Golden Tate (Seahawks) on a five-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: This is a great deal for all involved. Tate should feast on the open field lining up across from Calvin Johnson creates and the Lions get a legit #2. You will no longer get him remotely cheap as he has a chance for No. 2 fantasy WR numbers and can easily top 1,000 yards and a boatload of touchdowns.
