Detroit Lions TE Eric Ebron, the team’s first-round pick, is expected to battle TE Brandon Pettigrew for playing time in offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi’s offense. Ebron could play a role similar to TE Jimmy Graham in the New Orleans Saints offense, and the Lions could use plenty of two tight end sets.
