Updating a previous report, the Detroit Lions agreed to terms with WR Golden Tate (Seahawks) on a five-year contract that is expected to pay $31 million with $13.25 million guaranteed.

Footballguys View: As with all contracts, don’t expect to see Tate entering into those last two years without a renegotiation or extension. Still, a very nice payday to go with his Super Bowl ring.
