Detroit DL Israel Idonije said in an interview this week that one of his main incentives to play for Detroit was so he could stay in the NFC North Division and face the team he spent the past nine years with, the Chicago Bears. He said going against Bears QB Jay Cutler had nothing to do with it. ‘It’s more about just the opportunity to go and play the team that I’d been with for so long. So it’s not personally against one player,’ Idonije said. ‘But I’m looking forward to twice a year, dressing up, suiting up and getting after it on the field when we play the Bears in Detroit and then in Chicago.’
