The Detroit Lions acquired WR Mike Thomas from the Jacksonville Jaguars Tuesday, Oct. 30. It’s unknown at this time what Jacksonville received in return for Thomas.
Our View: The Lions needed more depth in the WR corps after losing Nate Burleson for the rest of the season. Thomas gives them veteran depth and can help out as a return man as well. We don’t think his arrival will cut into the playing time for rookie Ryan Broyles as the slot WR.
