Purdue RB Akeem Shavers measured a 39 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-10 broad jump and completed 19 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press at his Pro Day Friday, March 1. Shavers reportedly ran the 40-yard dash under 4.4 seconds twice but those times were unofficial.

Our View: Shavers is considered a priority Free Agent in this draft class. He showed well in Purdue’s bowl game against Oklahoma State where he had 93 yards rushing (6.6 per carry) and caught four passes for 54 yards. This pro day performance will get him a camp invite and perhaps a future on some team’s practice squad.
