South Carolina QB Connor Shaw said he plans to run less once he gets into the NFL, because he wants to avoid big hits that could injure him.

Footballguys View: Shaw’s game is a lot like Tim Tebow’s. He loves to run and he will abandon plays too soon in order to make a gain of yardage with his feet. Shaw has a lot to work on if he’s going to be more than a gadget QB at the pro level.
