NFL | Derek Carr participates in pro day despite illness

Fresno State QB Derek Carr (illness) fought through an illness and completed 56 of 63 passes during his pro day Thursday, March 20. At least 23 teams were on hand to scout Carr. Among those attending were Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman and offensive coordinator Norv Turner, Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie and head coach Dennis Allen and Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch. Carr was scheduled to meet with the Vikings and Raiders following his workout. Scouts were not voicing concerns over Carr’s arm strength after his throws.
