Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith’s (knee) surgeon, Dr. Dan Cooper, said the nerve issues Smith is experiencing are normal at this stage of recovery, and Cooper said there is a ‘very good chance’ the nerve will regrow completely in the coming months.
