However, Manziel later said he willingly spoke with a team counselor, beginning last spring, at the behest of Aggies head coach Ken Sumlin, and that the sessions went on for ‘the next couple of years.’ When asked what the natural of the counseling sessions was, Manziel said he could not recall.
