Southern California WR JuJu Smith-Schuster said he is ‘the top receiver’ in the 2017 NFL Draft following his pro day Thursday, March 23.
Footballguys View: Slow your roll there, son. We like Smith-Schuster but he needs to clean up his breaks during route running, and doesn’t accelerate well out of his cuts. He’ll see a lot of contested balls, though luckily for him he thrives on that. He’s a big bodied, aggressive receiver, but he’s not the top of the class.
